REUNION FOR CLASSES OF 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947
Dear Sullivan Classmates, September, 2004Planning is underway for a grand and exciting reunion for the classes of 1944, 1945, 1946 and 1947. The newly formed Planning Committee has set the date for the reunion for the weekend of September 16, 17 and 18, 2005 and the reunion dinner date for Saturday, September 17, 2005. This leaves plenty of time for you to mark your calendar and plan to attend. It also gives us time to gather the addresses of our classmates.
The Planning Committee is organized to share the work load. Each class has its own Coordinators and Secretaries who will organize the mailing list and other logistics for their class. While the Saturday dinner and hotel accommodations will be coordinated jointly, it seemed practical to the Committee that any other events, such as a Friday evening gathering, a get-together at Sullivan or a Sunday brunch could be individually planned by each class.
Our big job at this time is to is to gather names and make an estimate of attendance. Spread the reunion word to your friends and ask them to spread the word—the old chain letter method.
We hope to expand the Planning Committee. If you live in the Chicago area and want to work on the Committee, we would love to have you join us. Call Marcy or Bob Brower, 312-654-0806, to receive notices of the meetings and receive additional mailings. If out of town, call or email and put your name and contact information on the list.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon. We’ll post more information about the reunion at a later date.
